GTA Trilogy soundtrack: All the songs in GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas listed

GTA: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition is out today, and just before we all step back into Liberty City, Vice City or San Andreas, Rockstar has furnished us with a complete list of all the songs that will be in the compilation of the classic sandbox games.

From the off, it’s worth noting that there will be some notable omissions. Some artists – likely those who’s licenses are tied up in rights issues – won’t be returning to the games. Despite the soundtrack boasting over 200 songs across 29 radio stations, singers like Ozzy Osbourne, Kate Bush and Michael Jackson have all seen their songs removed from the games.

That’s the downside. The upside is that, in addition to higher quality audio at 16bit 44hrz for all the source music from the stations, you will also be able to experience the game in 5.1 Surround Sound – so if you ever wanted to race in the destruction derby in Vice City whilst listening to 2 Minutes to Midnight swaddle you with its chugging riffs, you’re going to be happy with this.
