A former PlayStation worker has filed a lawsuit against Sony Interactive Entertainment in California, claiming it “cultivates a work environment that discriminates against female employees”, and suing it for “gender discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination”.
In the lawsuit, filed on 22nd November and spotted by Axios, former PlayStation IT security analyst Emma Majo claims Sony “wilfully violated” labour laws by “intentionally, knowingly, and/or deliberately paying women less than men for substantially equal or similar work”.
