Like Genshin Impact? Like Elden Ring? Then you’ve gotta hear what Tencent may be working on

Hark there, maidenless readers. A troublesome message has made its way onto the internet. According to reports, Tencent is working on a mobile version of Elden Ring. Inspired by Genshin Impact, it will apparently feature in-app purchases.

As of right now, there has been no response made by Tencent to Reuters or any other outlet who has reached out to it for comment. As such, what a microtransaction-laden Elden Ring mobile game could even look like, as well as how far a departure it’d be from the source material currently remains a mystery.
