The Lord of the Rings Deluxe Illustrated Box Set is perhaps the most decadent version of Tolkien’s trilogy ever brought to print, and it’s currently discounted to its lowest price ever on Amazon. Typically priced at $325, the massive box set is on sale for just $246.41, just in time for October Prime Day.

The three-volume, leatherbound set of hardcover books features over 50 paintings and drawings by artist Alan Lee, in addition to removable art cards and a pair of fold-out maps drawn by J.R.R. Tolkien himself. Alan Lee was the artist responsible for producing the concept art for Peter Jackson’s film trilogy and has since lent his talents to illustrating Tolkien’s other works. While the illustrations found in this edition of The Lord of the Rings are different from those found in the gorgeous standalone deluxe version, the maps in both versions are identical.

Other illustrated editions of Tolkien’s work are also on sale, including the illustrated version of The Hobbit, which is on sale for $38.01 (was $75), and The Silmarillion, which is discounted to $40.08 (was $75). The aforementioned single-volume version of The Lord of the Rings featuring illustrations by J.R.R. Tolkien is available for $47.49 (was $90).
