Before we dive into the deals, it’s worth noting the differences between external hard drives (HDDs) and external solid-state drivers (SSDs) for those of you that might not be aware. While HDDs are usually cheaper, any games you move to the external hard drive can only be moved there for storage purposes. That means you can’t run the games direct from the drive, with the exception of some older titles.
