Rank Up, Hold Your Ground and Join Forces in Aliens: Fireteam Elite Season 4

Summary

  • New Game mode
  • New challenges
  • Crossplay and more

With the arrival of Aliens: Fireteam Elite’s Season 4: Prestige update, our Year 1 Roadmap is officially coming to a close on July 26th. Season 4: Prestige is our biggest update yet and players can expect more from this season than ever before. This update includes some of the community’s most requested features, including crossplay and a new horde-based game mode called Restock Turrets.  There will also be four new guns, two new game modes, and so much more.

Of course, it wouldn’t be an AFE season if we didn’t also add a handful of new weapons, a smattering of attachments, and plenty of new Challenge Cards to keep every new playthrough fresh and exciting. Prestige will also allow players to experience an extended progression system with loads of exclusive unlockables. Read on to learn more!

New Challenge Cards and a Fabrication Reprocessor

Season 4 brings with it nine new challenge cards. Among them are Brink of Death, Expendable Crew, Maybe We Got ‘Em Demoralized, and Bad Feeling About This Op. You’ll have to load up to find out exactly what these cards do, but you can probably make an accurate guess about at least a couple of them.

“But what should I be doing with all my old unused challenge cards?” you ask? Well don’t worry, that’s why we’ve added the Fabrication Reprocessor. This feature allows you to trade in three of your unwanted cards for a new one. The higher the rarity of the challenge cards you put in, the more likely you are to get something just as rare out.

A Prestigious New Progression System

So you’ve reached level 20 with your marine and want a new challenge? Let us introduce you to Prestige. After reaching level 20, your XP will start counting towards your Prestige rank. You start off at Prestige Rank 1 and can go all the way up to 100. Every ten levels, you’ll unlock new exclusive rewards including outfits, accessories, gun colors, emotes, and more.

And of course, what’s a name like Prestige without glorious ways to show off your accomplishments? Exclusive bronze, silver and gold nameplates will let everyone know just how incredible you are at blasting away Xenomorphs.

What’s a Turret without Any Ammo?

If you like horde-based game modes, you’re going to love Restock Turrets! As the name suggests, this new mode tasks your fireteam with keeping a series of turrets stocked up while hordes of enemy Xenomorphs come at you from every direction.

Every ten levels is a checkpoint that unlocks cool new goodies and a sense of accomplishment that is probably worth it by itself.

Of course, you’ll be able to bring in all the new weapons and attachments coming in Season 4 into this new game mode. And just as importantly, crossplay is also enabled here. Remember, friends who shoot Xenomorphs together, stay together.

That’s all for now, but we’ll be back soon with more information on AFE’s Pathogen expansion DLC, coming August 30th.
