The game industry’s biggest convention is back. This week, Gamescom 2024 kicks off in Germany with an Opening Night Live showcase followed by five days of show-floor demos and events. In 2023, Gamescom announced it had 320,000 visitors, a 21% jump over 2022’s numbers. That’s over four times what E3 got at its peak — and, granted, Gamescom is a public show and the world has changed a lot since 2005. But with crowds like those, it’s a safe bet we’ll see some exciting things rolling in. We’ll have coverage all week.
