Evil Dead: The Game will make an appearance at the Summer Game Fest tomorrow.
A first look at gameplay of Evil Dead: The Game will be revealed during the show, tomorrow, June 10.
This will be only the second look we’ve seen of the game, which was announced last year during The Game Awards.
The upcoming co-op and PvP multiplayer title is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It is slated to be released sometime this year.
Based on the Evil Dead franchise and characters, the game casts players against the forces of evil that have been unleashed from the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis, with sights and sounds inspired by the films and the Ash vs Evil Dead television series.
In it, you will work together as a team of survivors by exploring, looting, crafting, and finding artifacts to seal the breach between worlds. If you prefer, you can take control of the Kandarian Demon to hunt Ash and his friends while possessing Deadites, the environment, and even the survivors.
You will battle across locations including the cabin in the woods, discover more than 25 weapons, including Ash’s Gauntlet, Boomstick, and chainsaw, and advance in a variety of skill trees.
The game will star Bruce Campbell as our favorite boomstick brandishing hero, Ashley J. Williams. It will also feature the characters Lord Arthur, Ash’s sister Cheryl Williams, Kelly Maxwell, Pablo Simon Bolivar, and Scotty from the first Evil Dead film.
