WWE 2K22 launches on March 11 and Visual Concepts/2K has spent the last few weeks rolling out roster reveals. Every wrestling fan knows that the quality of the roster makes or breaks any wrestling game but that’s become especially crucial for 2K22. The game arrives in the wake of a pandemic era that saw over 100 wrestlers fired by WWE, leaving fans worried and skeptical about who’s left to plug up the holes.
2K has finally unveiled the full, complete roster (excluding DLC characters, of which Machine Gun Kelly was recently announced). WWE fans will be most surprised to see that the roster still includes a litany of superstars that were let go from WWE in 2021, some of whom have been out of the company for nearly a year and/or currently perform in other promotions (such as AEW and Impact).
Strangely, that makes 2K22’s roster very outdated … but in a good way? After all, the more superstars the better and it’s nice to still play as your favorites even if they haven’t been a part of WWE programming in many months. This also saves you from creating them yourself, if nothing else.
Here is the full confirmed roster at launch with the final additions highlighted in bold.
