With a release date of 21st October 2021 confirmed for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC, you won’t have to wait much longer until you can finally get your hands on Far Cry 6. You can pre-order Far Cry 6 in the US and UK using the links below.

We’ve also shared more information on the different versions of the game and what’s included, as well as everything we know about the pre-order bonuses so far.

Ubisoft is no stranger to a collector’s edition, and there are several different editions of the game, including some that are exclusive to specific retailers (such as GAME in the UK).

All pre-orders of the game include the Discos Locos weapon, a deadly disc launcher, and the Libertad outfit for your dog chorizo. As well as being very good boy, your disabled fang for hire has his very own wheelchair which is modified with spikes and other weapons to tear up your enemies. Kitting him out in the Libertad outfit makes him look like even more of a badass.

As for the different versions of the game, you can choose from the Standard edition, Yara edition (DLC outfits) Gold edition (which includes the season pass and an optional Steel Book), Ultimate edition (even more extras) and the Collector’s edition. Far Cry 6 Pre-Order Comparison

So is it worth upgrading from the standard version of the game? Absolutely, at least, in our opinion. The latest Ubisoft Forward showcase shared more details on what’s included in the Far Cry 6 season pass. As well as being able to play as antagonists from earlier Far Cry titles, you’ll also get access to a fully remastered version of Far Cry 3’s stand-alone expansion: Far Cry Blood Dragon.

Blood Dragon is, arguably, one of the best things to happen in the Far Cry Universe. It’s essentially an ’80s B-movie take on the world of Far Cry 3, complete with a banging synth-wave soundtrack composed by Powerglove.

If the idea of a self-ridiculing Far Cry game featuring daft weapons, hilarious characters and cyber dragons that literally fire laser beams out of their eyes while reciting memes sounds like your kind of fun, make sure you grab the gold, ultimate or collector’s editions of the game from the links below.

As for what’s in the Far Cry 6 Gold edition, you’ll get three DLCs including the Far Cry Blood Dragon remaster. Most retailers include a Steel Book as standard, but some, such as Best Buy and Game Stop, are also providing digital versions without the Steel Book for $20 cheaper.

It’s worth noting that at the time of writing, all Best Buy pre-orders of the gold edition include a free $10 voucher to use online or in-store.

With the exception of GameStop who have the ultimate edition with an exclusive Steel Book, all other versions of the Ultimate edition are available as a digital download code for Xbox and PC only.

In addition to everything that’s included with the gold edition, you’ll get a series of cosmetic items in the form of The Jungle Expedition Pack, The Croc Hunter Pack and The Vice Pack.

We wouldn’t expect any less than Ubisoft. The Far Cry 6 Collector’s edition is an absolute beast, containing everything we’ve mentioned above plus loads of physical extras. You’ll get all of the following items crammed into an impressive looking collector’s case:

  • 10 Far Cry 6 stickers
  • 64-page A4 artbook
  • 72cm replica flamethrower with stand
  • Exclusive collector’s Steel Book
  • Map of Yara
  • Chorizo keyring
  • Selected game soundtrack

At the time of writing, the Far Cry 6 collector’s edition is only available to purchase from the Ubisoft store.
