What to expect from Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the first Dragon Age game in a decade, and as such, has heralded some undeniable changes. The art style is notably more cartoonish than previous entries. Compared to 2014’s Dragon Age: Inquisition, the game is significantly more streamlined as well, with a focus on a handful of dense environments rather than a singular open world.
The Veilguard nevertheless holds fast to BioWare’s RPG pedigree, starring a more than half a dozen characters you can recruit, fight alongside, and even swoon over. And some key players from Dragon Age canon — like Solas and Varric — have returned.
