Sephiroth Is The Next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC Character

One of the most-requested characters in the history of the Super Smash Bros. franchise is finally joining the most ambitious crossover in the industry. Sephiroth, the powerful antagonist of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII Remake, is joining his counterpart Cloud as a part of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster.

The trailer below shows us a sneak peek at the moves the Final Fantasy VII baddie has in his arsenal, but if you want to learn more, you can check out an in-depth character presentation with director Masahiro Sakurai on December 17 at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET.

Sephiroth joins Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as DLC this month as the third of six fighters included in Fighters Pass Vol. 2.
