Hitman 3‘s foray into the seven deadly sins continues this week with Agent 47 striding confidently into the Season of Pride – and IO Interactive has released a roadmap to let us know what to expect from this new content.
Teased last week, Season of Pride is the second part of Hitman 3’s Seven Deadly Sins DLC, and it’s set to expand the world of everybody’s favourite skinhead assassin once more.
Season of Pride kicks off on May 10 and promises a new Elusive Target, the return of Featured Contracts created by the Hitman community, and new weapons and gear to boot. Take a look at the trailer below for a quick overview of what’s coming in the new update.
Once Season of Pride lands, you will be able to get your craven hands on The Proud Swashbuckler, The Majestic and the Narcissus Suit – all new cosmetic items that can be unlocked by playing the Pride Profusion Escalation “where you’ll be faced with different challenges, depending on the selections you make…”
It all starts with you locating ‘the peacock’ apparently, how apt.
The Iconoclast will be the Elusive Target for this set of DLC, and she’ll be dropping into Mendoza on May 12.
“We’re starting this one a little earlier than usual, but we’re also giving you longer to play it,” said the developer. “For 12 days, you’ll have one chance to infiltrate Mendoza and eliminate The Iconoclast. Once you’ve updated the game, you’ll see the countdown clock for their exact arrival time already live in the game. We’ll double and triple check that they leave as planned, too.”
You’ll also be able to play in Paris for free between May 28 and June 6, giving you the chance to enjoy the first game’s premiere setting if you’ve never tried it before – and you’ll be able to hunt for the second Elusive Target of the season (“a Black Hat Hacker with a penchant for a certain Alabama jam”) whilst you’re there, too.
