Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is getting new content inspired by the upcoming Monster Hunter movie.
Capcom likes its cross-over events, so you bet the publisher is working on some Monster Hunter movie-inspired content, coming soon to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.
As with all previous collaborations, the new content arrives in the form of Event Quests, available to Iceborne owners on all platforms for a limited time.

The two-part Event Quest will task you with taking down a Black Diablos, one of the monsters seen in the Monster Hunter movie trailers. Then, you’ll go up against a Greater Rathalos. Both quests are Master Rank (MR 1 or higher), and only playable solo, which should give you an idea of how challenging they’re going to be.
Finishing each one earns you a chance at getting layered armour and special gear. The layered armour is the bigger deal, as it changes your character to look like Artemis – Milla Jovovich’s Hunter from the movie, though you could also craft the Artemis α+ Armor Set. The character is even voiced by Jovovich, for added authenticity. Both quests will be available December 2-4.
If you’re not interested in the grind, you can simply log in from November 27 to December 2 to receive an item pack in celebration of the movie, though these are only consumables.
