Genshin Impact releases on PS5 next week, and you can have a look at what to expect in the latest trailer.
Coming to the system on April 28, this Genshin Impact trailer gives you a look at around eight minutes’ worth of gameplay.
According to the developer miHoYo, players can expect the PS5 version of the game to be more detailed, more vivid, and more immersive.
The team behind the game created a graphics library from the ground up, along with a customized file-loading system to take advantage of the console’s SSD. This means, in future updates, there will be more potential to “elevate the visual quality and game performance.”
miHoYo states in a PS Blog post that the all-new graphics library allows the team to “pack more details into the game world,” providing high-res textures and enhanced Level of Detail distance. All of these details also run in native 4K resolution.
With the PS5 version, faster loading times will also help you traverse the open-world and domains smoother, which means teleporting from one place to another now takes just seconds.
As far as the PS5’s DualSense controller is concerned, the team is redesigning the controller support from scratch to explore its full potential.
Alongside the PS5 release on April 28 comes Version 1.5, Beneath the Light of Jadeite, with which you can expect new events and new enemies, the ability to continuing journeying with Zhongli, meet new characters, and more.
Genshin Impact is currently available for PC, Android, iOS, and PlayStation 4.
