Both the Xbox Series X|S and PS5 launched earlier this month and if you were one of the lucky people to get an early console, Black Friday’s timing couldn’t be better. Whilst many sales have been more focused on the current console generation, that doesn’t mean next-gen is being completely neglected either.

Perhaps due to a larger selection of cross-generation releases, we’ve seen quite a hefty launch lineup for both consoles and many games are also offering free next-gen upgrades, applying to both physical and digital copies.

Some games haven’t yet launched their next-gen versions but are on their way to doing so, essentially meaning you’re pre-ordering that copy whilst obtaining the existing version cheaply.
