Wizards of the Coast recently revealed its product lineup for Magic: The Gathering in 2025. While collaborations featuring Final Fantasy and Marvel franchises are some of the biggest takeaways, Wizards also quietly announced a new, limited edition set called Innistrad Remastered, which arrives Jan. 25, 2025. Just like MTG’s recently announced Foundations set, Innistrad Remastered features relaunches of the series’ most popular cards. You’ll find favorites from several gothic horror expansions, including Shadows over Innistrad, Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, and Innistrad: Crimson Vow.
Pointed more towards veterans and avid collectors, this limited edition set commands a high price, and currently boxes of Play Boosters and Collector’s Boosters are only available to pre-order from Amazon. We’ll expand this page with additional products and retailers as they become available.
Innistrad Remastered Play Booster packs
Innistrad Remastered Play Booster packs contain 14 cards from the new expansion, with up to four cards of rare quality or higher, and at least one traditional foil card. Roughly 20% of Play Boosters contain a single traditional foil land card in addition to a single Retro-frame card. Play Boosters are currently available to pre-order in boxes of 36 packs from Amazon for $251.64.
Innistrad Remastered Collector’s Booster packs
For the more discerning player, Innistrad Remastered will also launch with Collector’s Booster packs. These 15-card packs each contain at least four cards of rare quality or higher, six cards with an alternate-frame treatment, and a single Retro-frame art card. Collector’s Boosters are the only way to potentially pull one of 500 serialized Edgar Markov cards, or Movie Poster cards that reimagine some of MTG’s iconic characters as classic monsters from the silver screen. Collector’s Boosters are available to pre-order in 12-pack boxes from Amazon for $359.88.
