While the mad story of the PS5 launch continues to twist in bizarre directions – the latest development involving, among other things, a box of catfood – PlayStation fans can at least take comfort in a good old fashioned bargain. Black Friday has officially begun on the PlayStation Network, boasting discounts of up to 70% off on selected downloads.
A few of the year’s top games are in the mix: The Last of Us Part 2 is going for $30, DOOM Eternal for just $20. It’s a comprehensive list, though PlayStation Plus subscribers should be careful not to double dip and accidentally buy something they’re getting for free.
Also included in the sale is a 25% off discount on PlayStation Now, bringing the cost of a year’s subscription to the streaming service down to a tidy £49.99. PS5 owners can get the same deal on PlayStation Plus, or 20% off on a three month membership.
It’s a heck of a lot to trawl through. To save you some time, here’s a few of the best deals we’ve spotted:
The sale is running in both North America and Europe and is scheduled to last until the 1st December. If you want to see more PS4 deals, check out our dedicated hub page, and follow the discoveries our hard working bargain-gnomes over on the Jelly Deals Twitter account.
