UPDATE 11pm: Sega has confirmed the release date for Sonic x Shadow Generations at Summer Game Fest, along with another look at Shadow gameplay.
The new trailer confirms there will be three hedgehogs: classic Sonic, modern Sonic, and Shadow. That means no chibi Shadow, sadly, and there are no guns…so far.
Despite that, Black Doom has been confirmed as the new villain for Shadow’s standalone campaign, plus there’s an all-new hub world inspired by Sonic Frontiers’ open-zone gameplay.
