Nintendo Switch Sports originally had players as robots instead of human characters.
In a recent Ask The Developer session with the game’s designers, producer Takayuki Shimamura and art director Junji Morii discuss the development of player characters.
That included having players inside robots designed to look like burgers, bears, skulls, and more.
