If you want to sign up to get access to an as-yet-unannounced Gran Turismo 7 PS5 beta test, we suggest you head on over to the PlayStation site sharpish.
If you head on over to the site, which has seemingly been pushed live ahead of its intended release time, you can sign up for a beta key and even receive one of your very own (though it seems these keys are likely placeholder dummy codes, for now).
First spotted by GTPlanet, the Experience PlayStation site is still live at the time of writing and will distribute codes if you provide the relevant information, and hit the “Related Campaigns” and “Italia Quest” tabs on the site before watching 10 seconds of the embedded GT7 trailer.
PlayStation has yet to make any official announcements about any kind of Gran Turismo 7 PS5 beta test, but it wouldn’t be too surprising to see one happen – especially since the GT series has a history of launching betas ahead of the main game release. Well, with the exception of the GT Sport one that was planned but never happened.
Long story short? Don’t expect a playable build of Gran Turismo 7 – beta or otherwise – in the immediate future.
Earlier this year, we heard that Gran Turismo 7 has been delayed to 2022. According to Sony, it has to do with production challenges caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The game was revealed in June 2020, and Sony has not yet committed to a solid release date for the title.
