Fortnite’s next battle pass will include collabs with Godzilla and Big Hero 6, reliable leaker Shiina claimed via X (formerly Twitter) on Nov. 25.
The leak appears to be of a promotional graphic meant for a convention booth — potentially next month’s CCXP, if the presence of Portuguese in the image is a clue — and depicts both an American-style Godzilla and Big Hero 6 robot Baymax in his red Super Armor alongside a bunch of what we can only assume are original Fortnite characters also being added in the first season of Chapter 6. The word in the logo, “Caçada,” is Brazilian Portuguese and roughly translates to “Hunt” in English, which may be the chapter’s subtitle.
That wet, chomping sound you hear is Fortnite continuing to slurp up every intellectual property in existence. While it’s pretty obvious Baymax will be a playable skin, Godzilla’s size in the image indicates we might see the irradiated monster act as a hazard on the map rather than carry an assault rifle into battle as a miniature version of himself.
Fortnite players are currently enjoying Chapter 2 Remix, which reverts the battle royale map to how it looked all the way back in the heady days of 2019, while featuring new appearances by musicians like Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, Eminem, and Juice WRLD. The game’s original map will also return as a permanent game mode on Dec. 6, shortly after Chapter 6 kicks off in earnest.
