2005 Star Wars Battlefront 2’s first patch in three years pulled after it broke the game

The first patch in three years for the 2005 Star Wars Battlefront 2 was pulled after it broke the game.

A surprise hotfix update was issued on 9th February to Pandemic Studios’ much-loved multiplayer shooter that addressed a number of issues with graphic resolution and controller support in the game.

While the update was initially met positively – an update for a 15 year old game is fantastic support, after all – it didn’t take long for players to notice it broke the game in several key areas.
