UK Charts: Switch Games Pushed Down The Pecking Order As Next-Gen Excitement Takes Over

UK chart data is now in for the week ending 14th November, revealing that a number of new releases on rival platforms have pushed Nintendo’s biggest games out of those prestigious top spots.

New titles in the Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty franchises have reached number one and two respectively, with both selling better on PS4 than on their new-generation counterparts. Sony exclusives Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales ad Demon’s Souls have also pushed their way into the charts, both debuting in the top six.

That leaves Animal Crossing: New Horizons as the highest-placed Switch exclusive; FIFA 21 is also available on Switch, of course, but Switch sales made up just 9% of the game’s total sales this week.
