Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is a Turtles in Time-inspired brawler coming to PC and consoles

There’s a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the horizon.

DotEmu, publisher of solid revivals of classic games, has unveiled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge today, a side-scrolling brawler for up to four players.

Shredder’s Revenge is inspired by the classics, including Turtles in Time, and it’s coming to PC and unspecified consoles. Shredder’s Revenge is developed by Mercenary Kings, and Flinthook maker Tribute Games, itself a studio known for its love of classic-leaning arcade-style games.

The gang is alll back to disrupt another one of Shredder’s plans, going up against the Foot Clan, and Bebop and Rocksteady in an adventure across New York City’s boroughs and Dimension X.

Though today’s reveal trailer is mostly animated, we do get a few seconds of gameplay towards the end, and yep, it does look like a good approximation of Turtles in Time. Shredder’s Revenge does not yet have a release date, and today’s announcement was light on details, but you can wishlist it on Steam while you wait.
