When Sony unveiled the PlayStation 5 Pro<\/a> in September, it snuck in another bit of news, which is that it\u2019d begin selling refurbished PS5s \u2014 both the original disc drive edition and the digital edition that launched in 2020. After a few weeks with a \u201cComing Soon\u201d banner attached to them, they\u2019re now available<\/a> to add to cart and purchase.<\/p>\n

The PS5 consoles with a disc drive costs $399.99, while the disc drive-less digital edition is $349.99. For those who aren\u2019t interested in the $699.99 PS5 Pro<\/a>, it\u2019s great that the option exists for gamers to get in to the PS5 generation for the cost of a Nintendo Switch OLED. Each refurbished PS5 includes a one-year manufacturer warranty, and Sony says that they may come with \u201cminor cosmetic blemishes.\u201d<\/p>\n
