Sony\u2019s next big State of Play games showcase event will stream on Tuesday, Sept. 24, the PlayStation maker announced Monday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

September\u2019s State of Play will stream live at 6 p.m. EDT\/3 p.m. PDT\/11 p.m. BST on the official PlayStation YouTube<\/a> and Twitch<\/a> channels. The event will run <\/strong>more than 30 minutes and feature \u201cmore than 20 upcoming PS5 and PS VR2 games from studios around the world,\u201d Sony said.<\/p>\n

PlayStation Studios\u2019 announced lineup includes\u00a0a remaster of horror game<\/a>\u00a0Until Dawn<\/em> (which launches in October), Haven Studios\u2019\u00a0Fairgame$<\/em>,<\/a>\u00a0Bungie\u2019s Marathon<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0<\/em>Insomniac Games\u2019\u00a0Wolverine<\/em><\/a>, and Lego Horizon Adventures<\/em>, a family-friendly remake of the original Horizon Zero Dawn<\/em>. There\u2019s also the as-yet-unannounced Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered<\/a><\/em>, which could get an official reveal on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

We can likely expect announcements from PlayStation\u2019s partners. Konami\u2019s Silent Hill 2<\/em><\/a> remake is out soon, and the publisher has a Metal Gear Solid 3<\/em><\/a> remake waiting in the wings. Capcom\u2019s Monster Hunter Wilds<\/em><\/a> and Kojima Productions\u2019 Death Stranding 2: On The Beach<\/em><\/a> are also looming in 2025.<\/p>\n

Sony recently announced the PlayStation 5 Pro<\/a>, a more powerful version of its current-gen console. That system will be released in November.<\/p>\n
