The anticipated TTRPG system from Darrington Press, Daggerheart<\/em>, is now available to pre-order. The new system \u2014 penned in part by Matthew Mercer of Critical Role \u2014 is finally heading to the presses following a free open beta period. Darrington Press hasn\u2019t announced an exact release date yet, but has landed on a Spring 2025 launch window for the Daggerheart<\/em> Core Set. The Core Set comes in two flavors: a $59.99 basic set<\/a>, or a more comprehensive $149.99<\/a> limited edition<\/a>. While Daggerheart <\/em>is shaping up to be a little heavier on the math<\/a> than a system like D&D, we were impressed by Daggerheart<\/em>\u2019s intuitive character- and world-building systems during our time with the open beta. The final version of the game is likely a very different beast compared to the beta. However, if you\u2019d like to learn more about the game before committing to a pre-order, the open beta playtest is still available to download for free from DriveThruRPG<\/a> and Darrington Press<\/a>.<\/p>\n
