Filmed in April across four different UK cities, recordings of Dimension 20<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Time Quangle<\/em> live shows are coming to the Dropout streaming service, starting Sept. 12. A new trailer for the four-episode series puts the emphasis lightly on the plot and firmly on the antics, but then, in Time Quangle<\/em>, even the game\u2019s setting and characters are kind of a spoiler.<\/p>\n

Hosted by game master Brennan Lee Mulligan<\/a> \u2014 with players Emily Axford, Ally Beardsley, Brian Murphy, Zac Oyama, Siobhan Thompson, and Lou Wilson \u2014 each show in the Time Quangle<\/em> tour used the spin of on-stage bingo machines to determine which of their previous Dimension 20<\/em> characters the cast would play, and which previous Dimension 20<\/em> setting they would adventure through, in an unpredictable crossover\/reunion every night.<\/p>\n

And as the core cast of Dimension 20<\/em> players, Beardsley, Axford et al. had a lot of characters and settings to choose from. Players rolled from a pool of characters from Fantasy High<\/em> (high school students in a parodic D&D-style fantasy land), The Unsleeping City<\/em> (the secret magical powers behind the city of New York), A Crown of Candy<\/em> (the body count of Game of Thrones meets the edible environment of Candyland<\/em>), A Starstruck Odyssey<\/em> (a crew of absolute bozos in a gonzo capitalistic space adventure), and Neverafter<\/em> (fairy tales plus existential horror).<\/p>\n

The trailer confirms that Dropout will air the first two episodes of Time Quangle<\/em> on Sept. 12 and 19, with the rest coming in December.<\/p>\n
