That means you can expect the new Nintendo Direct\u2019s focus to be on games from major third-party publishers and games from smaller, independent developers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Tuesday\u2019s Nintendo Direct\/Indie World stream will run for roughly 40 minutes and will start at 10 a.m. EDT\/7 a.m. PDT. The showcase will stream on Nintendo\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/live\/Bh7o96_yIWw\">YouTube<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.twitch.tv\/nintendo\">Twitch<\/a>&nbsp;channels. And before you get your hopes up for a random Tuesday reveal of the Switch 2, Nintendo says, \u201cthere will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during either of these presentations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Instead, expect details on games for Nintendo Switch that aren\u2019t coming directly from Nintendo itself. That could include upcoming third-party games like <em>Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed<\/em>, <em>Sonic X Shadow Generations<\/em>, <em>Yars Rising<\/em>, <em>Gundam Breaker 4<\/em>, and the <em>Ace Attorney Investigations Collection<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">The \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/23633001\/nintendo-switch-2-release-date-2024-backward-compatibility\">Switch 2<\/a>\u201d is reportedly\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/24075215\/nintendo-switch-2-delay-2025-reports\">coming sometime in early 2025<\/a>, and we may not hear official details from Nintendo on that next-gen console until this fall or winter.
