She\u2019ll want two of them, and in exchange, she\u2019ll teach you how to cook water chestnut fritters. You\u2019ll also earn some renown for Mistria.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Below, we explain where to find water chestnuts in <em>Fields of Mistria<\/em>, along with what else you can use them for.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-none\">Where to find water chestnuts in Fields of Mistria<\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">You can find water chestnuts in set spawn locations in <strong>The Narrows<\/strong>, the map to the west of Mistria. There\u2019s quite a few growing in the water directly south of the museum. They appear as small sprouts along the edge of the river, but once you interact with said sprouts, a bunch of water chestnuts will pop out, ripe for the taking. In our game, there were five spots along the river where the water chestnuts spawn and respawn.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/where-to-find-water-chestnuts-in-fields-of-mistria-1.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" data-has-syndication-rights=\"1\" data-caption=\"\" data-portal-copyright=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Water chestnuts take about four in-game days to respawn, so we recommend holding on to a few of them before selling off or using the rest, just in case you need them during this respawn period.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">You can also buy them sometimes from Balor\u2019s merchant wagon for 25 Tesserae each, though his shop seems to rotate on a random basis, so this method of grabbing chestnuts isn\u2019t really reliable.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-none\">What are water chestnuts used for?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Outside of the initial quest where they\u2019re requested, you can eat the water chestnuts for three HP and stamina each, but this isn\u2019t really a great use for it. Once you unlock the mill, you can use water chestnuts to make better animal feed for your ranching needs. You can cook the chestnuts into water chestnut fritters, which restore 56 HP and stamina, as well as trailmix, which restores 12 HP and stamina.
