What is silk in Black Myth: Wukong?<\/h2>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

Silk is used to craft rare and epic rarity armor<\/strong>, which can really help elevate your stats in the first few areas of Black Myth: Wukong<\/em>. How much silk you\u2019ll need depends on the type of armor piece and its rarity. For example, a rare chest piece \u2014 typically the most expensive piece to craft in a set, as it holds the most stats \u2014 might only cost you two silk (in addition to some other crafting currencies) where an epic hat might cost you four silk.<\/p>\n

As you progress out of chapter 2, silk will become a more minor currency, and you\u2019ll find it piling up much like Yarn. It\u2019ll be replaced by \u2014 or combined with \u2014 even rarer currencies like Cold Iron leaves<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Where can you find silk in Black Myth: Wukong<\/h2>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

Silk is supposed to be rare in chapter 1 of Black Myth: Wukong<\/em>, and while it seems to randomly drop from some bosses like Elder Jinchi \u2014 he didn\u2019t drop any for us, but others claim to have gotten some off of him \u2014 you can reliably purchase two from the Grand Chamber Shrine Store<\/strong> in the Secret: Ancient Guanyin Temple<\/a><\/strong> area.<\/p>\n

As you progress into chapter 2<\/strong>, you\u2019ll find more and more sources for silk. Powerful enemies will randomly drop some silk, as will bosses like the Second Prince of Flowing Sands<\/strong>. But, most importantly, you\u2019ll be able to reliably purchase some at the chapter 2 shrines. This trend \u2014 being able to purchase rare resources at shrines in each area \u2014 will continue as you progress through the game. So be sure to always check the stock and spend your Will on resources like silk when you get the chance.<\/p>\n
