She was instrumental in the creation of her husband&apos;s supervillain persona: His efforts to cryogenically freeze her until he could find a cure for her terminal illness led to a lab accident that turned him into Mr Freeze and, while Nora was eventually cured, she became a supervillain in her own right afterward. <em>Whoops!<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\nA full character breakdown hasn&apos;t been shared yet and given the multiversal setting of Suicide Squad, the in-game character may vary somewhat, or completely, from that history\u2014rather like how its take on <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/suicide-squad-kill-the-justice-league-reveals-its-first-season-featuring-a-playable-joker-from-another-universea-camp-insecure-20-something-with-a-rocket-umbrella\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Joker<\/a> wasn&apos;t quite the character we&apos;re most familiar with.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>(Personally, I would&apos;ve preferred a straight lift of Otto Preminger, the one true Mr. Freeze\u2014now that would&apos;ve been <em>wild<\/em>.)<\/p>\n<div class=\"youtube-video\" data-nosnippet >\n<div class=\"video-aspect-box\"><iframe data-lazy-priority=\"low\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/m2xB2xtPa-w\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Anyway, along with Mrs Freeze, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League&apos;s second season will include new gear and gear sets, a new map, incursions, and of course a new battle pass.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"van-image-figure inline-layout\" data-bordeaux-image-check >\n<div class='image-full-width-wrapper'>\n<div class='image-widthsetter' style=\"max-width:4096px;\">\n<p class=\"vanilla-image-block\" style=\"padding-top:56.25%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"CQu4LRbNgA3HjYNaP9tfWQ\" name=\"GRl-uUAW8AAT7vL.jpg\" alt=\"Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League season 2 - coming content\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/brainiac-was-right-freeze-is-coming-to-suicide-squad-kill-the-justice-league-next-week-but-it-may-not-be-quite-who-you-were-expecting.jpg\" mos=\"\" align=\"middle\" fullscreen=\"1\" width=\"4096\" height=\"2304\" attribution=\"\" endorsement=\"\" class=\"expandable\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><figcaption itemprop=\"caption description\" class=\" inline-layout\"><span class=\"credit\" itemprop=\"copyrightHolder\">(Image credit: Rocksteady)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The second season of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League comes as the game continues to struggle to find players. Fewer than 500 people are playing it right now on Steam, an abysmally low number that&apos;s actually something of a bump in recent weeks: Through most of June, the concurrent player count remained <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/steamdb.info\/app\/315210\/charts\/#3m\">stuck u<\/a><a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/steamdb.info\/app\/315210\/charts\/#3m\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">n<\/a><a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/steamdb.info\/app\/315210\/charts\/#3m\">der 300<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That&apos;s sparked speculation that WB Games will pull the plug on the whole thing, but in June the publisher committed to finishing out the game&apos;s &#8220;<a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/games\/action\/wb-games-promises-suicide-squad-will-complete-its-currently-announced-roadmap\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">currently announced roadmap<\/a>.&#8221; That means three more seasons (including this one) with three new playable characters and other content.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond that, though, it seems very unlikely we&apos;ll see any more. Suicide Squad was a <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/games\/third-person-shooter\/oof-suicide-squad-kill-the-justice-league-lost-warner-bros-200-million-which-is-25-million-more-than-the-original-2016-movie-cost-to-make\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">major money loser<\/a> for Warner, and it&apos;s hard to imagine that the cost of ongoing development and support is justified by the tiny player counts. The game is also available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X\/S, so the Steam numbers aren&apos;t the full story, but given that Warner <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/suicide-squad-kill-the-justice-league-has-fallen-short-of-our-expectations-warner-says\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pointed the finger<\/a> specifically at Suicide Squad for &#8220;setting our games business up for a tough year-over-year comp in Q1&#8221; back in February, I think it&apos;s reasonable to assume that things aren&apos;t going great on those platforms either.<\/p>\n<p>But for those who are playing and enjoying the game, more is on the way soon: Mrs Freeze and the rest of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League season two arrives on July 11.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/games\/action\/brainiac-was-right-freeze-is-coming-to-suicide-squad-kill-the-justice-league-next-week-but-it-may-not-be-quite-who-you-were-expecting\">Source<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Five months after Brainiac let the secret slip, Rocksteady has confirmed that Mrs Freeze will headline the second season of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
