After years away, VG247 has made a shocking return to the Los Angeles Convention Center for <strong>E3 2024<\/strong>. Now, everyone knows that the show has been going through a bit of a rough patch recently, but we&#8217;re happy to be back with our boots on the ground at world&#8217;s premier video games show.\n<\/p>\n<p>On a personal note, I&#8217;ve wanted to go to E3 ever since I was in school. I would stay up all week to watch all the livestreams and drag myself to the computer room where I and others would excitedly recap all the trailers and reveals. It&#8217;s a big part of why I got into this business. 14 years later, I&#8217;ve got my boots on the ground. No more looking back at old writer&#8217;s photographs and 360p livestreams &#8211; I can see it for myself at last.\n<\/p>\n<p>First off: the exterior. E3 seems to have gone for a more conservative approach to marketing this year, lacking many of the massive posters or billboards that has traditionally covered the convention center&#8217;s walls. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/its-all-very-sad-isnt-it-where-does-the-games-industry-go-from-here\">It&#8217;s no secret that the industry is in a bit of a financial slump right now,<\/a> so I suppose this stripped-back approach is sensible.
