The game was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2021\/02\/02\/ea-sports-announces-return-of-college-football-games\">first announced in 2021<\/a> following a years-long hiatus for college football games due to the 2014 player likeness compensation lawsuit.<\/p>\n<p>Both editions are now available for pre-order.
