With that in mind, here&apos;s how to craft a Drakkar so you can get safely to the Ashlands.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"valheim-drakkar-how-to-craft-it-xa0-6\">Valheim Drakkar: How to craft it\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>To make the Drakkar, you need to have spent quite a bit of time in the Mistlands biome\u2014that is, of course, unless you decide to use <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/valheim-cheats-console-commands\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Valheim cheats or console commands<\/a> to spawn in the items you need. It&apos;s crafted from <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/valheim-black-marble\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>black marble<\/u><\/a> found in the Mistlands but you&apos;ll need to <strong>upgrade your artisan table<\/strong> using the <strong>Majestic Carapace<\/strong> that drops from the <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/valheim-mistlands-queen-boss-location-sealbreaker\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>Mistlands boss<\/u><\/a>. <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/valheim-yggdrasil-wood\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u><strong>Yggdrasil wood<\/strong><\/u><\/a> is also found in the Mistlands, and is harvested from Yggdrasil shoots.<\/p>\n<p>You should already have plenty of <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/how-to-get-valheim-iron-ore-gate-armor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>iron<\/u><\/a>\u2014or know where to get it\u2014from exploring the swamp biome. Once you&apos;ve smelted iron scrap into ingots, you can use the forge to turn it into <strong>iron nails<\/strong>. <strong>Finewood<\/strong> is another resource you should be very familiar with.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&apos;ve crafted your Drakkar and you&apos;re ready to set sail, head to the far south of your map and look for the orange tinge to the ocean as you approach. As soon as you cross that line, brace yourself for whatever the Ashlands decides to throw at you.
