Although this <em>technically<\/em> isn\u2019t an official announcement either, I&#8217;d say there&#8217;s roughly a 99.99 percent chance that Black is involved.<\/p>\n<p>The Minecraft movie, which has been in development in some form or another since 2014, is directed by <em>Nacho Libre<\/em> director Jared Hess. The cast includes Jason Momoa (<em>Aquaman, Game of Thrones<\/em>), Danielle Brooks (<em>The Color Purple<\/em>), Jennifer Coolidge&nbsp;(<em>The White Lotus, American Pie<\/em>), and Emma Myers (<em>Wednesday<\/em>). <em>Minecraft<\/em> is scheduled to hit theaters on April 4, 2025.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jack Black is obviously no stranger to video game movies.
