As reported by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/yoko-taro-teases-nier-3\"><em>Eurogamer<\/em><\/a>, during the concert, which celebrated the Nier series&#8217; music in London, Taro apparently made a surprise appearance and asked for people to clap and cheer as loudly as they could so that Square Enix president Takashi Kiryu \u2013 in attendance \u2013 could hear the demand for more Nier, according to one fan at the event.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>However, the biggest tease of the night came from an on-screen word that appeared multiple times throughout &#8220;the story of the show,&#8221; SanTheSly, the fan in attendance, writes on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.resetera.com\/threads\/nier-automata-shipments-and-digital-sales-top-eight-million.820065\/?post=119549808#post-119549808\">ResetEra<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameBorder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gcdjaGjvo2A\" width=\"640\"><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;[The] word REPENT was shown repeatedly as part of some dialogue,&#8221; SanTheSly writes. &#8220;The final instance was spelled as R3PENT. Both me and the person I&#8217;d gone with picked up on it and wondered if this was a tease.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That sounds like a tease to us; otherwise, why else change the word &#8220;repent&#8221; to randomly feature a &#8220;3.&#8221; However, some fans of the series already consider Nier Reincarnataion, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2024\/01\/24\/nier-reincarnation-shuts-down-in-april#:~:text=The%20game%20will%20run%20for,launched%20on%20July%2028%2C%202021.\">a mobile gacha game shutting down in April<\/a>, to be the third game in the series. On that timeline, Nier (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/review\/nier-replicant-ver-122474487139\/nier-replicant-review-new-blood-old-veins\">and its remastered Nier: Replicant counterpart<\/a>) is the first in the franchise and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/games\/nier_automata\/b\/playstation4\/archive\/2017\/03\/06\/nier-automata-game-informer-review.aspx\">Nier: Automata<\/a> the second.
