Sources with knowledge of the delay told us it was designed to ensure the strongest possible line-up of launch games.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2024-02-19\/nintendo-plunges-after-game-makers-say-switch-2-pushed-to-2025\">Bloomberg<\/a> later corroborated the news via its own sources, and today noted Nintendo shares had now fallen 5.8 percent on the back of Switch 2&#8217;s delay being made public.
