The title was originally slated to launch February 25 but will now arrive at an undetermined date later this year.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span>Ubisoft\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RidersRepublic\/status\/1349763240302149635\/photo\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweet<\/a>\u00a0explains the reason for the delay is to simply allow more time to give the game some more TLC given its large scope, especially in its online multiplayer.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<article class=\"embedded-entity\"> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/riders-republic-delayed-to-later-this-year-1.jpg\" typeof=\"Image\" alt=\"\" class=\"image-style-body-default\" \/> <\/article>\n<p><span><span>Riders Republic premiered during last September\u2019s Ubisoft Forward event. The game pits up to 50 players against each other in a variety of extreme competitions\u00a0including biking, snowboarding, skiing, and wing suiting. Despite the huge player count, the game can still be enjoyed solo as well as in co-op. Players can also compete in events, such as the X Games, and sign sponsorships to raise their Rider\u2019s clout. Another cool feature is the game\u2019s real-world locations based on America\u2019s national parks such as Bryce Canyon, Grand Teton, and Mammoth Mountain. We don\u2019t get many AAA extreme sports games anymore, so Riders Republic is a welcomed project and looks like a blast so far.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span>Many studios are still finding their groove when it comes to working from home, so I wouldn\u2019t expect Riders Republic to be the last big release to suffer a major delay. We\u2019ve already seen marquee titles games such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2021\/01\/06\/outriders-delayed-to-april-free-demo-launching-in-february\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Outriders<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2021\/01\/13\/hogwarts-legacy-delayed-until-2022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hogwarts Legacy<\/a>, and even the already far away <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2021\/01\/11\/upcoming-playstation-5-games-get-new-release-windows\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pragmata<\/a> get pushed back.
