Rock Band is celebrating the start of 2021 with its 20th<\/sup> season of Rock Band Rivals<\/a><\/em><\/strong>! We\u2019re turning the clock back and revisiting 8 of our most popular previous challenges from the last 20 seasons, as voted on by the Rock Band community. If you still haven\u2019t checked out Rock Band Rivals<\/em>, we invite all RB4<\/em> players to join a crew and see what it\u2019s all about! And if you haven\u2019t played Rock Band on your all-new Xbox Series X, wait until you see the load times!<\/p>\n

Join a Crew, Rock the World<\/strong><\/p>\n

From January 13 through January 19 (the first week of Season 20), everyone who owns RB4<\/em> will have access to the Rivals Expansion<\/em>. That gives you exclusive access to Rockudrama, the hilarious campaign that sets you as the star of your very own live-action rock documentary, online Quickplay, and the eponymous Rivals mode, which is where the heart of the action is. Jump into Rivals by joining a Crew and competing head-to-head weekly. For those of you who haven\u2019t played in a while, or have been curious about the Rivals Expansion, now\u2019s a great time to check out all the cool stuff it adds to the Rock Band 4 experience!<\/p>\n

Are You Ready to Rock?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first challenge of Rivals Season 20<\/em> calls back to the first challenge from Season 1, \u201cReady To Rock?\u201d, which highlighted our namesake: Rock music. We\u2019ve refreshed the challenge with an updated song list designed to highlight the new Rock hits that we\u2019ve released since 2017. We\u2019re kicking things off with new DLC featuring songs from Machine Gun Kelly and Anarbor.<\/p>\n

Play Rivals, Win Rewards<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each season of Rivals features an exclusive set of Rock Shop assets for each tier.
