Exciting news straight from the goat\u2019s mouth, Goat Simulator 3 has a launch date! Pilgor and friends will be crashing onto PlayStation 5 November 17.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">We\u2019ve heard that a lot of people are getting confused by the naming of our game, Goat Simulator 3. Here at Coffee Stain Publishing we wanted to set the record straight and answer the question of why it\u2019s called Goat Simulator \u201c3\u201d&#8230; Unfortunately we\u2019ve not managed to get a straight answer from our friends over at Coffee Stain North, the creators of the game. Which isn\u2019t totally surprising as they are a bit of a strange bunch.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">But in the spirit of transparency and since you asked, here\u2019s what we were told by various members of the team, we\u2019ll let you decide what to think.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cThere were three goats on the box art\u201d &#8211; Rasmus Bj\u00f6rk, Community Manager &#038; Cinematographer<\/li>\n<li>\u201cWait? We didn\u2019t make a Goat Simulator 2?\u201d &#8211; Olivia Follin, Programmer<\/li>\n<li>\u201cIt\u2019s been such a long time since Goat Simulator 1 came out that Goat Simulator 2 as a title just didn\u2019t encapsulate all the advancements in simulation technology that we\u2019ve implemented.\u201d &#8211; Sebastian Zethraeus, Game Producer<\/li>\n<li>\u201cNo one likes a sequel\u201d &#8211; Driton Gashi, Designer<\/li>\n<li>\u201cBaaaaaaaaa\u201d &#8211; Pilgor&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>\u201cThere was a reason\u2026 but I\u2019ve forgotten..\u201d &#8211; Philip Bretschneider, 3D Artist<\/li>\n<li>\u201cSomeone from the Publishing team said it and we didn\u2019t want to correct them\u201d &#8211; Judith Radnitz, Game Producer<\/li>\n<li>\u201cGod of War: Ragnar\u00f6k was already taken\u201d &#8211; Santiago Ferrero, Creative Director<\/li>\n<li>\u201cWell it would\u2019ve been weird if we called it Goat Sim 4\u201d &#8211; William Birgersson, Art Director &#038; Level Designer<\/li>\n<li>\u201cIt\u2019s still just a typo\u201d &#8211; Helena Lindstr\u00f6m, Community Manager<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;The numbers Mason, what do they mean?&#8221; &#8211; Stuart Docherty, Sound Designer<\/li>\n<li>\u201cNone of the above\u201d &#8211; Sebastian Eriksson, CEO<\/li>\n<li>\u201cPilgor does what Gordon&#8217;t\u201d &#8211;&nbsp; Joar Hedvall, Programmer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\">What we do know is that Goat Simulator 3 is officially coming out on November 17 and you can pre-order the standard edition now on PlayStation 5 here for a jiggly \u2018pre-udder\u2019 surprise or pick the Digital Downgrade Edition which comes with a selection of remastered items from Goat Simulator.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/goat-simulator-3-releases-november-17-devs-discuss-naming-the-game.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/goat-simulator-3-releases-november-17-devs-discuss-naming-the-game.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">We\u2019ve also revealed a special collector\u2019s Goat In A Box Edition (currently available for pre-order in EU and ANZ regions only) for the ultimate goat enthusiasts.
