Bethesda also revealed additional information about the game, including details about its different characters, co-op, and more.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Following that reveal, Redfall game designer Harvey Smith spoke to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/dgGH-UC9TTE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IGN<\/a> <\/em>in a new interview about the title\u2019s co-op and how it works. Here, Smith revealed that Redfall\u2019s campaign progress is tied to the host of the co-op party and that it\u2019s only persistent for that host, as reported by <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamesradar.com\/uk\/redfall-campaign-progress-is-tied-only-to-the-host-in-co-op\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GamesRadar<\/a><\/em>. This means that if you\u2019re teaming up with someone to play co-op and you\u2019re not the host, you will not receive the campaign progress they might after completing a level.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameBorder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" src=\"https:\/\/players.brightcove.net\/694940074001\/rydylbNsz_default\/index.html?videoId=6307658812112\"><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo for the flow of things, you want to have to redo those,\u201d Smith said. \u201cThe story would be very confusing if you got to mission eight and it said, \u2018skip this one because you\u2019ve already done it.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Smith said that Arkane initially tried to give every player some \u201ccredit\u201d for completing a given level when they aren\u2019t the host. However, this didn\u2019t work out, as those same players would then run into that same mission again when playing solo or as the host of their own co-op session. However, Smith told <em>IGN<\/em> that character progression aspects such as loot and XP would carry over to your campaign.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Of course, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2022\/05\/12\/starfield-and-redfall-delayed-to-first-half-of-2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Redfall recently delayed out of 2022 and into 2023<\/a>, things could change.
