Together with Ryan Bousfield and his wonderful team of developers at Wolf &amp; Wood, and publisher Wired Productions, I\u2019m delighted to show Xbox players the first glimpse of gameplay from our narrative adventure coming later this year.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/the-last-workers-fight-for-humanity.jpg\" alt=\"Jungle hero\" class=\"wp-image-163103\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>In our brand-new <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/-jnWkXe-3Q4\">trailer<\/a>, CEO Josef J\u00fcngle takes us on a tour of JFC-1, the flagship fulfilment center servicing the billions of customers of the J\u00fcngle Corporation (whose resemblance to real world corporations is purely coincidental of course). After all &#8211; like all leading online retailers &#8211; J\u00fcngle has nothing to hide.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/the-last-workers-fight-for-humanity-1.jpg\" alt=\"screenshot\" class=\"wp-image-163101\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Our new trailer offers a sneak peek of the people, the technology, and the high-tech computer algorithms at the centre of J\u00fcngle, with boxes piled as high as skyscrapers. Players will soon be able to experience first-hand J\u00fcngle\u2019s promise that the future can in fact be delivered today. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dispatching to Xbox later in 2022, The Last Worker is a first-person character and gameplay driven narrative adventure centred around humanity\u2019s struggle in an increasingly automated world, where people are progressively being replaced by robots.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/the-last-workers-fight-for-humanity-2.jpg\" alt=\"Screenshot\" class=\"wp-image-163104\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>I\u2019ve been lucky to work with the greatest creative team money can\u2019t buy, e.g. composer Oliver Kraus known for his collaborations with Sia, Adele, Florence and the Machine and others and legendary comic artist Mick McMahon (Judge Dredd), whose character designs and concepts we have been working hard to bring to life in immersive, hand painted 3D. Along with these unique visuals, our characters are performed by an all-star cast including \u00d3lafur Darri \u00d3lafsson, Jason Isaacs, Clare-Hope Ashitey and David Hewlett\u2026 and a couple of actors we\u2019ll save for a future unboxing!<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/the-last-workers-fight-for-humanity-3.jpg\" alt=\"screenshot\" class=\"wp-image-163102\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>I hope you enjoy the screenshots.
