We\u2019ve kicked off the Elex II<\/em> pre-order this week<\/a><\/strong>! What better time to whet players\u2019 appetites for a combat experience unlike any other? Our goal with Elex II<\/em> was to create a rich RPG, adventure-style experience in the vein of its predecessor that also delivers deep and layered combat. We wanted the player to feel the satisfaction of learning numerous fighting skills and mastering a multitude of weapon types. In short, when we call on Jax to fight with everything he has, we want you to feel like you have what it takes at your disposal!<\/p>\n

For the Piranha Bytes team, this meant melee, magic and ranged combat options. Ranged combat weaponry includes guns, bows, rockets, and even laser or plasma shooters plus many more. The many types and varieties of ranged weapons will give you the perfect tool for every situation to overcome every opponent, whether you fight on the ground or engage in aerial combat. If you prefer to get close, Elex II<\/em>\u2019s melee arsenal is also vast. Use clubs, swords, axes, hammers, maces or even improvised weapons like a simple pipe to hack, smash and scatter your enemies. And don\u2019t forget about magical or \u201cpsi\u201d powers which allow the player to throw fire, ice and lightning at anyone standing against you.<\/p>\n

Fight like an eagle with Elex II<\/strong><\/em>\u2019s new aerial combat. Thanks to his improved jet-pack, that you can upgrade throughout the game, Jax can hunt the invaders even in the air or hover above them and let havoc rain on them.<\/p>\n
