The team\u2019s reasoning is simply to, in their words via a press release, \u201cprovide fans with the gaming experience at the level they deserve and Techland wants to provide.\u201d\u00a0Techland promises the game will arrive on Switch within six months of Dying Light 2\u2019s release, so (hopefully) expect it no later than July.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dying Light 2 is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/psa\/2022\/01\/10\/update-dying-light-2-main-story-lasts-about-20-hours\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">massive and ambitious game<\/a> and getting it to perform well on Switch is likely no small feat, even if they\u2019re utilizing cloud streaming instead of cramming it onto a traditional cartridge (which Techland did <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/gamescom-2021\/2021\/08\/27\/dying-light-is-leaping-to-switch-with-new-platinum-edition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">accomplish with the first game<\/a>).\u00a0That&#8217;s a bummer for those hoping to enjoy the adventure\u00a0on a handheld, but at least Dying Light 2\u00a0is only a couple of weeks from hitting other platforms.
