It might be a while until we learn more about the Ghost of Tsushima movie adaptation currently in the works.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s because director Chad Stahelski, who\u2019s perhaps best known for directing all three John Wick films (as well as the upcoming fourth one, too), told IGN<\/a><\/em> in a new interview that the team behind it wants to do right by the game. To do that, the team is taking its time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cWe just want to do it right,\u201d Stahelski said. \u201cYou know how video game adaptations can go. So we\u2019re taking our time and doing it right. We\u2019re working very closely with game developers to make sure we stick to what\u2019s great about it.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

IGN<\/em> notes that Stahelski stated\u00a0that a script is still being developed for the movie. He also said that fans of Ghost of Tsushima \u201cwould be very happy with what we\u2019re working on,\u201d noting that he\u2019s played it \u201cmany times,\u201d which is something that initially drew him to the project.<\/p>\n

When asked if Jin Sakai English voice actor Daisuke Tsuji would be reprising his role in the film, Stahelski said, \u201cwe\u2019ll see,\u201d and they \u201chaven\u2019t gotten that far yet.\u201d Only time will tell for now.\u00a0<\/p>\n
