Dawn of Ragnarok <\/em>sees Eivor step into the role of Odin once again and travel to the dwarven realm of Svartalfheim, where the immortal fire giant, Surtr, has kidnapped Odin\u2019s son Baldr. Fantastical mythic realms are not the only new features players can expect: in Dawn of Ragnarok<\/em>, Odin will have access to new divine powers that allow players to absorb enemy powers and use them to their advantage.<\/p>\n

Available as a separate purchase for owners of the main game, Dawn of Ragnarok<\/em> is accessible after players reach settlement level 4 and unlock Valka\u2019s hut. While there is no required power level, it\u2019s recommended that players be around level 340 to avoid having too tough of a time in Svartalfheim. All Xbox players that purchase the expansion between December 13, 2021, and April 9, 2022, will immediately receive the in-game Twilight Pack. The pack includes the Dellingr’s Envoy Raven Skin, the Havardr Lynx Mount, the Twilight Gear Set, and the Algurnir Dane Axe Weapon. <\/p>\n

While Dawn of Ragnarok<\/em> may be a few months away, a new free update for all Assassin\u2019s Creed Valhalla <\/em>and Assassin\u2019s Creed Odyssey<\/em> players launches on December 14. Assassin\u2019s Creed Crossover Stories is a cross-game project that brings Kassandra and Eivor together for the first time, and includes a new story in both Assassin\u2019s Creed Valhalla <\/em>and Assassin\u2019s Creed Odyssey<\/em>. Each story is available to owners of each respective game. Owners of Assassin\u2019s Creed Odyssey<\/em> will get a new story titled Those Who Are Treasured, and owners of Assassin\u2019s Creed Valhalla<\/em> will be able to play its crossover story, A Fated Encounter. You\u2019ll need to own both games to experience everything that Crossover Stories has to offer. To play A Fated Encounter, Valhalla<\/em> players will need to reach settlement level 4 and unlock Valka\u2019s hut. Odyssey<\/em> players will need to complete Chapter 1 and reach Megaris to access Those Who Are Treasured, although it\u2019s recommended that players finish the main game to avoid spoilers. <\/p>\n
