First, the physical editions are being delayed, but only by ten days. A tweet from the company announced the change in date on Twitter, saying you can get your actual mitts on Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy \u2013 The Definitive Edition\u00a0on December 17 instead of the originally planned December 7.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"tw-align-center twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\" xml:lang=\"en\">The release dates for the physical versions of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy \u2013 The Definitive Edition have changed.<\/p>\n<p>Xbox Series X \/ Xbox One and PS4 will now release on December 17. The Nintendo Switch version is coming in early 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Check your local retailer for availability. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/6avP8yp6la\">pic.twitter.com\/6avP8yp6la<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Rockstar Games (@RockstarGames) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RockstarGames\/status\/1465744996401827846?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 30, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Tangentially, The Trilogy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2021\/11\/19\/rockstar-is-bringing-back-original-pc-versions-of-gta-trilogy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">launched digitally<\/a> earlier this month in a state that fans weren&#8217;t too happy about, awash with graphical issues, performance woes, and overly-intense <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2021\/11\/11\/grand-theft-auto-the-trilogy-the-definitive-edition-new-gameplay-today-live\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">downpours\u00a0of rain<\/a>. Since then, Rockstar has issued patches to the trio of products in an attempt to make good on the original promise of the remasters. Today, a new set of fixes have been added, alleviating over 100 issues spanning all three games. Even the cinematic camera that was missing from the initial release has been restored. Here&#8217;s a few fixes from the big list:<\/p>\n<p>GTA III:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed an issue where the rain appears under water when falling<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where the player was able to stretch a two-seater vehicle using the car crusher<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where the mission title would linger on screen too long at the beginning of any mission<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Vice City:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed a hole in the game world near Caf\u00e9 Robina<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where the barrel of the minigun did not spin when fired<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where Lance would be duplicated after restarting the mission Copland<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>San Andreas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed a save game issue at the end of the mission Blood Bowl<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a missing bridge in the Shady Creeks section of the map<\/li>\n<li>Fixed graphical corruption on CJ\u2019s head and body during the motel sequence of the mission &#8220;Reuniting the Families&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can see the entire list of fixes on Rockstar&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/support.rockstargames.com\/articles\/4411612846867\/Grand-Theft-Auto-The-Trilogy-The-Definitive-Edition-Title-Update-Notes-1-03-PlayStation-5-PlayStation-4-Xbox-Series-X-S-Xbox-One-PC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">support site here<\/a>. The changes listed are for all versions except Switch, which will be receiving adjustments in a few days.\u00a0It just goes to show\u00a0porting games can be hard to do, especially when the project involves\u00a0three large sandbox experiences across half a dozen platforms.
