Anime and brawler fans alike came together to either relive their favorite battles\/fantasy fights across myriad series or embark on a new, ambitious fighting experience touting a sizable roster at release. I might not have purchased Jump Force when it launched back in 2019, but I remember throwing together <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2019\/02\/14\/a-short-bio-of-every-jump-force-character\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A Short Bio Of Every Jump Force Character<\/a> as a <em>Game Informer<\/em> intern. I was impressed with the sheer amount of licensed anime shows that were slated to appear in the game (and exhausted by the end of writing all those dossiers). However, early next year Jump Force\u2019s digital availability and online services are coming to an end in the Americas.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2021\/11\/10\/jump-force-digital-sales-of-the-title-and-online-service-set-to-end-next-year\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to watch embedded media<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span><span>Bandai Namco US released a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bandainamcous\/status\/1458298377385488391?s=21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">short\u00a0statement and fact sheet<\/a> on Twitter today to break the news and provide any extra details for fans that have plans to play the game after the discontinuation date, \u201cOur sincere thanks goes out to all Jump Force players and fans for their support; but with all good things, they must come to an end,\u201d the Tweet reads. \u201cJump Force\u2019s availability through digital purchase in the Americas will end on 2\/7\/2022 at 5 PM PST.\u201d This decision applies to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2020\/04\/16\/jump-force-coming-to-switch-this-year\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nintendo Switch<\/a>, and PC regular\/deluxe versions of the game.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span>Additionally, here\u2019s all the content that\u2019ll no longer be available:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Logging in to the multiplayer lobby.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span>Online Events<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span>Clan Functions<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span>Viewing the Notice Board<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span>Viewing the leaderboards<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span>Accepting Rewards from the Reward Counter<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span>In-game Store<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span>Premium Shop (Only this function will be available until 2022\/8\/1)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span>Online Ranked Match<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span><span>And here\u2019s the content that\u2019ll still be accessible:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Offline content<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span>Online battles (Except Ranked Match)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2019\/03\/14\/jump-forces-dlc-roadmap-announced\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DLC<\/a> (DLCs purchased before end of sales will still be available to use after online service ends.)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span><span>Sadly, our own Kyle Hilliard didn\u2019t enjoy Jump Force. He gave the game a 6\/10 and concluded his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/review\/jump-force\/super-smash-blunders\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">review<\/a> stating, \u201cFor all the harm the middling presentation does to Jump Force, the fighting does have satisfying explosive moments and the online versus mode does work well. There is depth to uncover in the combat, but it never truly sang to me or made me excited to tackle the next fight. Mostly I was just happy to not have to repeat a fight when I won, even if I was performing iconic attacks from some of my favorite anime.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span>If you\u2019re an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2021\/10\/08\/anime-for-gamers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">anime fan<\/a> that\u2019s always been interested in Jump Force but never found the time to grab a copy, now might be your only chance; the clock is counting down!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em>Are you sad to see Jump Force go?
